Privacy policy
Veil (“we”, “us”) operates an adults-only marketplace at veilapp.xxx. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.
Account data. Email, display name, password hash (or Clerk identifiers if enabled), and date of birth attestation for the 18+ gate.
Payments & identity. Booking and tip payment metadata are processed by Stripe. Government ID and selfie images for Stripe Identity are processed by Stripe — Veil stores verification status and session ids, not raw ID scans. Reader payouts use Stripe Connect.
Content & media. Session chat, card draws, and optional profile photos (Vercel Blob) are stored to operate live readings and profiles.
Cookies. A signed HttpOnly age cookie records adult DOB attestation. Session cookies keep you signed in.
We do not sell personal data. You may request access or deletion by emailing support@veilapp.xxx, subject to legal retention for payments, disputes, and fraud prevention.
